On September 27, the women’s volleyball team at UAA kicked off their match against Saint Martin’s with a heartfelt tribute. Before the game, players invited their chosen faculty members to join them on the court, honoring them during Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. Among the honorees were four standout educators from the College of Health, each nominated by students who wanted to recognize their impact in the classroom and beyond.
MiLee Yu is a graduate of the Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æâ€™s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. In September 2025, MiLee was awarded the BSW Student of the Year award at the Biennial National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Chapter Conference.
From campus food pantries to statewide health initiatives, Keely Livingston is turning passion into purpose. Keely’s journey into public health began with hands-on work in food security during her undergrad years at Montana State and led her to enroll in UAA's Master of Public Health Program.
