Anchorage (April 19) – After leading his team to a 20-win season and an NCAA Tournament berth, Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Anchorage men’s basketball senior Hasaan Herrington was honored Sunday with the 2025-26 Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Athlete of the Year award, presented at the athletic department’s annual end-of-year banquet at Lucy Cuddy Hall.

Seawolf gymnasts tie mark with 10 all-academic honorees
The UAA gymnastics team tied a program record Wednesday as the Seawolves produced 10 honorees on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, led by a 4.00 grade-point average from sophomore Verena Wong.
Former Seawolf star Hooe named UAA Volleyball head coach
Anchorage – Once a hometown hero on the court, former All-American Morgan Hooe will now lead the way for the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ volleyball program, as acting athletic director Tanya Pont announced Monday that Hooe has been named the Seawolves’ next head coach.

UAA's Drake moves to second all-time in hurdles
Monmouth, Oregon – Tyler Drake ran 14.73 to finish fourth in the 110 hurdles at the John Knight Invite Saturday. The time ranks second all-time at UAA.
