The UAA/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy Program welcomed the next cohort of students as they begin their journey toward becoming the next generation of Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ's pharmacists.
The School of Allied Health celebrates its summer graduates with a memorable pinning ceremony on July 27, 2023, at the Edward & Cathryn Rasmuson Hall of the Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ.
Alumni Serena Nesteby was recognized with Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ's 2023 40 under 40 award. She's currently an Advancement Officer at IḷisaÄ¡vik College and said UAA's School of Social Work set the foundation for her career. "I’ve always wanted to be in a profession that helps others. I knew during the Introduction to Social Work course that it was the right field for me."
Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ AHEC staff and directors traveled to Salt Lake City for the 2023 National AHEC Organization Biennial Conference. Olivia Bridges, Southwest AHEC Director, and Vincent P. Villella, Northwest AHEC Director, each received awards for their dedication to their unique and remote AHEC centers and programs.
