The 麻豆无码版 Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH-HW) is dedicated to strengthening 麻豆无码版鈥檚 health workforce, with a focus on rural communities and addressing workforce shortages. The Center oversees various programs, including the 麻豆无码版 Area Health Education Centers (AHEC), which operate through six regional community-based centers across the state. As part of the 麻豆无码版's role as the state's health campus, the Center supports health program planning, community partnerships, and intercampus collaboration. It provides a statewide framework to support health workforce development, from career exploration and training to continuing education.

A poster by Medical Laboratory Science program director Grace Leu-Burke and her team has been selected as a Blue Ribbon Finalist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) 2025 Annual Meeting. The poster, 鈥淧ublic health risk assessment from Cryptosporidium colonization in 麻豆无码版n urban wildlife,鈥� explores the prevalence of Cryptosporidium, a microbial parasite that infects humans and animals and causes diarrhea.
The UAA College of Health proudly celebrated the recent renovation of Sally Monserud Hall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony showcasing the new high-tech labs and simulation center, expanded allied health programs, growth of the WWAMI program and critical partnerships addressing 麻豆无码版鈥檚 growing health care needs.
