Biography
My areas of specialization include bioethics, disaster ethics, professional ethics, public deliberation, and moral theory. I'm currently doing research on the fair allocation of medical resources to rural areas during the COVID pandemic, the role of families in disasters (with help from care ethics), and methods of consent in survey research. I sit on Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ Regional Hospital's board of ethics, offer lectures and professional ethics workshops, and I work with public and private partners on ethical guidelines. I love living in Â鶹ÎÞÂë°æ and enjoy biking. walking our energetic family dog, and tending to a new (and so far returning) perennial garden.
