Kenai Peninsula College (KPC) technology students delivered an incredible performance at the (NAPTA) Troubleshooting Skills Competition, earning 4th place overall in the nation and taking home 1st place in the Equipment Identification category. The competition took place in Pasadena, Texas from April 29 to May 1. Fourteen teams from across North America participated in this rigorous three-day event, which included computer process simulations, hands-on process activities and equipment identification challenges.

The NAPTA competition brings together top college teams from across the country to test real-world skills in process technology, challenging students to diagnose and solve complex industrial system problems using simulations, technical knowledge and teamwork.

Competing and excelling at this level demonstrates the strength of KPC’s program and the talent and dedication of our students.
