2013 Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Ethics Bowl

The Seawolf Debate Program and UAA's Department of Philosophy are pleased to bring
you the fourth annual University of Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Ethics Bowl. Inaugurated in 2011 by the
University of Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Fairbanks' Socratic Society, the tournament returns to Anchorage
Oct. 5.
The Ethics Bowl offers the opportunity for undergraduates to apply their knowledge of argument and ethics to case studies in a competitive environment designed to test reasoning, advocacy and critical thinking. The winning team will be flown to Seattle to represent Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ at the Northwest Regional Ethics Bowl in February. Information about the competition, adjudication criteria, training materials and registration can be found on the .
Registration for the event is open to teams comprised of undergraduate students currently enrolled at any university in the state of Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ. Faculty and staff who are interested in serving as judges are also encouraged to register as a judge-no experience necessary.
