Kids Count's 2009 data book on the status of children now available online

Kids Count Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ (KCAK) is a project of the and the at the Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ. KCAK monitors and reports on the health, safety and economic status of Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ's children on a number of indicators ranging from health care coverage to high school graduation rates. Led by Research Associate Virgene Hanna, the project releases an annual data book containing this information so that the public and policymakers can make informed decisions to improve the lives of Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ's children and families. Kids Count is a state and national effort funded by the Casey Foundation to track the status of children. Kids Count Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ provides citizens and policymakers with current data needed to make informed decisions about priorities, services, and resources affecting Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ's children, families and communities.
