Due to the campus closure on Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Cabin Fever Debate introductory meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. The meeting will still take place in SSB 118.
UAA Seawolf Athletics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of compliance manager. Seawolf Athletics is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), and competes in multiple National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) divisions. The Seawolf program features 13 teams competing at both the Division I and Division II levels.

A Community of Practice (CoP) for mentors of undergraduate researchers and scholars will be available this semester.
The Honors College is working to identify any staff or faculty who have had prior experience with any major scholarships (e.g. Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, etc.).
Seawolves are headed to the world stage with five UAA alumni competing at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics in February: JC Schoonmaker, Gus Schumacher and Hailey Swirbul will represent the U.S. in Nordic skiing; Peter Hinds will represent Slovakia in Nordic skiing; and Pascale Paradis will represent Canada in biathlon.
Formed in fall 2025, the Powerlifting Club is open to students of all experience levels, from those who are just curious about lifting weights to athletes actively training for competitions.
