On Saturday, March 5, Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ WWAMI medical students connected with faculty and alumni over cocoa, great conversation and winter festivities in celebration of 50 years of partnership between the Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ and the University of Washington School of Medicine. Pharmacy and nursing students to administer health screenings in rural Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ

This March, students from UAA’s pharmacy and nurse practitioner programs will travel to Pilot Station and Akiak to administer free health screenings to Head Start students and the wider community. This trip is the first of two planned to rural Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ communities each year, one in spring and another in fall, referred to as Project Partnership for Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æâ€™s Kids (PAK).
