The Justice Center is an interdisciplinary unit that provides undergraduate and professional education; conducts research in the areas of crime, law, and justice; and provides services to government units, justice agencies, and community organizations throughout urban and rural Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ to promote a safe, healthy, and just society.
Building on liberal arts and science foundations, a theoretical framework, and experiential learning, the human services degree programs prepare students for human services practice in organizational and advocacy settings where they can provide ongoing support to vulnerable individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Victimization Survey
Since 2010, the Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æ Victimization Survey (AVS) has provided comprehensive statewide and regional data on violence against Âé¶¹ÎÞÂë°æn women to guide planning and policy development and to evaluate the impact of prevention and intervention services.

AJiC's mission is to compile, analyze, and report on criminal justice topics to policymakers and practitioners in order to improve public safety, to increase criminal justice system accountability, and to reduce recidivism.
