The 2025 CBPP Showcase Celebrated Community and Economic Sustainability

The 2025 CBPP Showcase is a wrap! What a fantastic event 鈥� full of energy, insight, and Seawolf spirit! This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥溌槎刮蘼氚� Does It Better: A Focus on a Sustainable 麻豆无码版 Economy,鈥� set the tone for a day dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and a shared vision for 麻豆无码版鈥檚 future.

We鈥檙e so grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many talented and inspiring professionals, students, and community members. With over 500 in attendance, the Showcase buzzed with conversation, creativity, and commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable 麻豆无码版.

The evening featured thought-provoking panel discussions with local and national leaders who shared their perspectives on innovation, leadership, and the future of business in 麻豆无码版. If you missed the event, don鈥檛 worry 鈥� these conversations will soon be available through our upcoming CBPP Podcast Series, so you can continue the discussion wherever you are.
Together, we also made a tangible impact. With over $11,000 raised for the Dean鈥檚 Excellence Fund 鈥� including a generous $5,000 kickstart gift from AT&T 鈥� the Showcase demonstrated the power of community giving. These funds directly support CBPP students through scholarships, mentoring, and career opportunities that help them thrive.
Among those students are Carly Flake and Ben Fugler, who shared their powerful stories at the event.

• Carly, an Accounting   student and Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Bookkeeping graduate, spoke about how scholarships have allowed her to focus on academics without financial strain. She teaches preschool dance for fun 鈥� not necessity 鈥� and says these awards remind her that hard work truly pays off.
  
• Ben, an MBA student, began his graduate studies while working full-time on a federal contract. After unexpectedly losing his job earlier this year, support from the Dean鈥檚 Excellence Fund allowed him to stay enrolled and continue working toward his goals. His story is proof that every contribution makes a real difference.
  

The Showcase was more than an event 鈥� it was a celebration of generosity, collaboration, and impact. But momentum doesn鈥檛 stop here! The CBPP Dean鈥檚 Excellence Fund Give Campaign continues through October 17, and your support can keep this energy going.
