Eight students from UAA’s College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) attended the 2025 Quinnipiac Global Asset Management Education (G.A.M.E.) Forum, held April 3–4 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Accompanied by Professor of Finance Dr. Ajit Dayanandan, the students joined peers from over 130 universities and heard from top industry professionals on global finance and investment strategy.
Representing both undergraduate and MBA programs, the students included Chelsea Spaulding, Anastasiia Korobutsyna, James Butler, Mathew Johnson, Donald J. Lawhead Jr., Micah Trakalsang, Joshua Harvey Johnson, and Tyler Victors.
CBPP students participated in the Global Portfolio and Poster Session competitions, presenting UAA’s Student Managed Investment Fund—established through a $1 million gift from Gary and Jane Cuddy Klopfer—which provides students real-world experience managing investments using professional tools like Bloomberg.
“The G.A.M.E. Forum was a great opportunity to learn from industry leaders and network with future finance professionals,” said undergraduate student Mathew Johnson.
MBA student Chelsea Spaulding added, “It was an honor to represent UAA and bring new knowledge back to our campus and community.”
