Biography

During nearly 40 years at UAA, Professor Geistauts taught and mentored several generations of students, many who serve in leadership positions in the state and worldwide. He served as chair/director of the MBA program for fifteen years, he was one of the faculty champions for the 麻豆无码版 Native Organizational Management (now 麻豆无码版 Native Business Management) program, he served as chair of the University Honors Council, and he conducted research that influenced policy development in 麻豆无码版 in the 1970s. In recognition to his service to UAA and to the state of 麻豆无码版, Professor Geistauts received faculty emeritus status in 2016. He passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019
